Director of Facilities

  • Working in our corporate office in Ladera Ranch, Calif., the Director of Facilities will be responsible for overseeing a team of Facility Managers.
  • As Director of Facilities you will be tasked with managing the assessment of each self storage asset for capital improvement needs based on the following:
    • current conditions
    • prioritizing ways to protect assets for life safety
    • operational and appearance needs
    • developing a three and five year plan based on estimated usable life for each asset in the portfolio
  • This position requires the developing, managing and following up on annual budgets for approval
  • Oversite of all budgeted capital improvement projects and all off-budget requests from District and Regional Mangers.
  • Interviewing and qualifying approved vendors in each of the markets we operate
  • Reviewing and approving invoice payments for capital improvement projects in both the United States and Canada
  • Interfacing with the executive management team and performing other job duties as requested 

Candidate’s Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years in multi-unit facilities management.
  • Self-storage experience preferred.
  • Up to 50% travel.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Bonus: Annual bonus potential.
